For over 15 years, founder Scott Cole has been involved in assessing the economic impacts of proposed government regulations and the valuation of natural resources for a range of clients including international, state and local government agencies, as well as private sector clients. His economic assessments and valuations have formed the basis of resource decisions made in a variety of environmental contexts in the US and Europe. As an expert in the interdisciplinary assessment of environmental damages, Scott is regularly invited to speak at conferences to present the economic perspective on environmental protection and restoration, including in China, England, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, USA, Norway, and Sweden. In 2005, after completing a Masters Degree in Economics at Umeå University, Scott founded EnviroEconomics Sweden. In May 2012, Scott defended his PhD thesis in environmental economics at SLU Umeå.
