What's New ... Scott gives guest lecture to students about environmental compensation for wind power

2009.01.29. Scott was invited to discuss how resource equivalency analysis can be used to determine environmental compensation to offset expected impacts from wind power. Scott discussed examples of environmental compensation in the US and Scotland and presented a hypothetical case study illustrating how a wind developer could compensate for environmental damage associated with expected bird collissions through a restoration project. The lecture was in conjunction with Sweden's Gotland University, which has been arranging courses related to wind power since 1998.
